Vaccination of foreign nationals against Rubella, Measles starts in Iran

Tehran, IRNA – A plan to complete the vaccination and screening of foreign nationals living in Iran against rubella and measles started in Iran as of Saturday.

Vice President of Health of Ahvaz Jondishapur University of Medical Sciences Pejman Bakhtiari told IRNA on Saturday that vaccination and screening of foreign nationals living in Iran against measles and rubella started as of today.

The plan is expanded across the country so that foreign nationals can refer to the clinics to receive the vaccines and screening services.

Bakhtiari in his remarks added that in the second phase of this plan, which will begin next month, screening and vaccination of this population agianst tuberculosis will be done.
